[FAQ] Can the system support different shoe categories (sneakers, heels, boots, sandals, etc.)?
Yes — the 3D Viewer supports all footwear categories without restriction, including sneakers, heels, boots, sandals, and more. It ensures a consistent, high-quality 360° visualization across your entire catalog.
For the AR try-on module, most closed shoes are supported, such as sneakers, loafers, and mid-height boots. However, the following categories may produce less accurate or visually inconsistent results:
- Open shoes (e.g. sandals, mules), due to the complexity of rendering feet and skin contact points realistically.
- High heels and knee-high boots, which challenge current occlusion and tracking capabilities.
- Shoes with extreme shine or transparency, which can interfere with real-time lighting and material simulation.
For best results, we recommend using AR try-on for your hero products with clean, closed uppers, while leveraging the 3D Viewer to showcase your full range without limitation.
