Basic Digitization powered by IA

What is the difference with Standard and Premium Digitization?

3D From Photo online platform automatically generates basic 3D renderings.

Fittingbox provides three different digitization services for Basic, Standard and Premium qualities.

The difference lies in the level of realism in the 3D models:

  • BASIC: Upload two photos of your glasses to our online platform. Our AI-powered technology will generate a 3D model. 

  • STANDARD: Send your physical frames to one of our Fittingbox Studios in Miami or Toulouse. Our 3D Studio captures the glasses, and we create the 3D model using advanced technology. 

  • PREMIUM: Like Standard, but with added attention to detail. Our StudioLab experts perform bespoke adjustments, resulting in the highest quality, luxury 3D renderings.

What type of photos should I upload?

For an optimal 3D rendering, upload two images on a plain background, preferably white:

  • one front view with temples open
  • one side view at a 90° angle with temples open.

Note: We cannot ensure quality rendering for thin-framed or rimless glasses, sports-style frames, or images with strong reflections or shadows. For this type of glasses, Standard quality is recommended.

How long does it take to digitize my glasses?

It takes just a few seconds to digitize your glasses in 3D after uploading your images.
Each pair takes about 30 seconds.

Can I export the 3D rendering of my digitized frame?

You can only view the 3D rendering, but exports are not available.
Once validated, your digitized frame is ready for virtual try-on.

.Glb or .gltf formats of 3D assets are available upon request with additional fees.

Can I combine different 3D digitization services?

Yes, you can combine the 3D from Photo platform with our 3D Studio or StudioLab for more complex shapes or detailed renderings.

You can also have access to our 3D frame Database including over 195,000 frames from international brands already available in standard quality.

Why the lens rendering of my sunglasses doesn't appear accurate?

If the lens rendering of your sunglasses appears off during the 3D digitization process on the 3D From Photo online platform, you can enhance the image before uploading it.

To improve the appearance of the lenses, consider darkening the lens color or adjusting the saturation and contrast of your front-view product image with the help of any image editor you prefer, such as Adobe Photoshop.

Once you've made these edits, save the image and then upload it to the platform to begin the digitization process.

Please note that 3D From Photo is an automatic digitization based on Artifical Intelligence that create basic renderings. To obtain better 3D renderings on gradient lenses for example, you can upgrade for Standard Digitization by sending your glasses to Fittingbox 3D Studio.
