[FAQ] How does the 3D Viewer work?

What is Fittingbox's 3D Viewer?

Fittingbox's 3D Viewer is a new module allowing users to view and interact with frames in a digital 3D environment. Users can rotate, zoom, and inspect the frames from all angles for a more immersive experience.

Which frames can be viewed with the 3D Viewer?

To ensure the best user experience, only our newest frames are compatible with the 3D Viewer. You can check the availability of any frame with the 3D Viewer the same way you currently check availability for Vitual Try-On (VTO) (see Availability endpoint documentation).

What do I have to do to use the 3D Viewer?

Once you have chosen the 3D Viewer module in your plan, a "3D View" icon will automatically appear during the VTO experience, inviting users to switch to the 3D Viewer.

In addition, and to enhance the overall user experience, we recommend including a dedicated Call to Action (CTA) on your product pages. This CTA can encourage users to start their experience with either a virtual try-on (VTO) or a 3D view. Users can seamlessly switch between the two options to benefit from both features.
