This update brings several useful features designed to improve usability and simplify your daily tasks. Nothing superfluous just practical improvements based on your feedback.

Order Platform – Check Item Availability

Order Platform – Availability Check to Avoid Unnecessary Orders


The Order platform now automatically checks if items are already available in the Fittingbox database when placing an order across multiple services.

Impacted services

  • VTO Standard from StudioBox

  • VTO Premium from StudioBox

  • VTO Standard from Photo

  • Standard Photos

  • Specific Photos


How it works

Items marked as Available

  • Already digitized → not added to your order

  • Message displayed: "These items are already in our database, ready to use."

  • Applies to both public brands (Tiers 1-3) and private brands (Tier 4)

  • Tier 4: You can still choose to add them manually

🔄 Items marked as In Production

  • Currently being digitized by Fittingbox → not added by default

  • Message displayed: "These items are currently being digitised and will be available soon."

  • You can choose to add them manually, they will switch to To Order

🆕 Items marked as To Order

  • Not yet digitized → automatically added to your order

  • Inputs will be required (file upload or physical frames, depending on service)

 

Order Platform – Availability check for customers without VTO Database moduleWhen placing an order without a VTO Database subscription, the Order platform now gives you more flexibility and visibility over previously digitized items.

  • VTO Standard from Photo

  • Standard Photos

  • Specific Photos

Supports both public and private brand items (Tiers 1, 2, 3, and 4)

 

Items marked as Available

  • Not added to the order by default

  • Message displayed:
    “These items are already in our database, ready to use.”

  • You can manually add them to the order → they become To Order

  • You see the most recent order in which these items were previously included

  • Currently being digitized by Fittingbox → not added by default

  • Message displayed:
    “These items are currently being digitised. They will be available soon.”

  • You can wait or add them manually to the order

  • Linked to the most recent order where the item was already requested

🆕 Items marked as To Order

  • Not yet digitized → automatically added to your order

  • These items will be digitized upon receiving required assets

 

Order Platform – 3D Viewer: Availability logic with and without Database module

When placing an order for the 3D Viewer (from StudioBox or from Photo)  with or without the 3D Viewer Database module  the platform now handles item availability as follows:


Available items

  • Not added to the order by default

  • Accessible immediately after ordering

  • Show the mention: “No shipping” (since no asset upload is required)

  • If the customer is not subscribed to the database module, they can still manually add the item → it becomes To Order


🔄 In Production items

  • Displayed with status In Production

  • Not included in the order by default

  • Show the most recent customer order where the item was already requested

  • Can be manually added to the order → becomes To Order


🆕 To Order items

  • Automatically added to the order

  • Will be digitized once required assets are received

2. Improved Order and Item Statuses

-Clearer statuses reflecting the progress of each item
-Better understanding of statuses for orders that include multiple services

3. Return label feature

-Possibility to import a return label for Miami box clients directly in the order
-Possibility to change the return address at the time of ordering for Toulouse box clients
-Option to indicate "no return" when placing the order (applies to all clients)
